Stanlee’s life took a turn when the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted her fitness routine and gradually led to weight regain. But with determination and the support of Stronger U, she found her way back to a healthier lifestyle. Stanlee, a fitness enthusiast, had always been committed to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. She religiously followed a disciplined routine of running, yoga, and strength training using the Peloton app. Initially, she found success by adopting the Paleo diet, shedding pounds effortlessly while feeling energized. However, over time, Stanlee faced the disheartening reality of her weight gradually creeping back up despite her best efforts to maintain her progress. 

It was after completing her first post-COVID half-marathon that Stanlee experienced a wake-up call. Her bones and joints ached, signaling that her body was no longer as resilient as before. Determined to make a change, she came across Stronger U, inspired by the remarkable transformations achieved by friends who had undergone the program. Intrigued and motivated, Stanlee decided it was time to join and embark on her own transformative journey. 

Fast forward to today, and Stanlee’s life serves as a testament to the positive impact of Stronger U. She recently completed a year with her coach, Kate Mazzoni, who became an unwavering source of support, understanding, and practical guidance. As an Orthodox Jew, Stanlee faced the additional challenge of navigating food-centric holidays and spiritual practices that demanded careful planning. Through Stronger U, she gained invaluable skills that allowed her to seamlessly integrate her newfound knowledge into her everyday meals, race preparations, and even travel plans. Recognizing that perfection is unrealistic, Stanlee appreciates that the program has armed her with the tools to consistently make better decisions for her well-being. 

What set Stronger U apart from other programs Stanlee had tried was the empowering sense of choice it offered. Unlike restrictive diets that relied on pre-packaged meals, Stronger U allowed her to select, cook, and enjoy foods that suited her preferences and goals. This level of customization allowed Stanlee to focus on understanding portion sizes and balancing macronutrients—an essential aspect of her success. 

While the 18-pound weight loss is an impressive accomplishment, Stanlee’s journey encompassed more than just numbers on a scale. One of her most cherished non-scale victories was being able to fit into new clothes—a tangible reminder of her progress and unwavering dedication. Stanlee firmly believes that her improved overall health, achieved through clean eating and an active lifestyle, has positioned her in a better state to face any future challenges that come her way.
