Tell us a little bit about yourself!

I’m 44 years old. I am married and a dog mama to 2 puppies. I am a family law attorney. My husband and I love to travel.

What did your life look like before Stronger U?

My diet was atrocious. I ate our constantly. It was nothing to down a pint of ice cream a night in addition to eating sweets throughout my day. It is funny because you don’t realize how big you are getting until you’re there. I felt horrible. My knees hurt going up and down stairs. My feet hurt every morning when I got out of bed. I was overweight as a child. In high school, I started working out and being more conscious of what I ate. In college and grad school I did the same. When I started working full time and made less time for me, I gained a lot.

What does your life look like now?

I am definitely more conscious about what I eat. I can feel the difference in how my body handles a healthy lifestyle v. a very unhealthy one. I have had my ups and downs with maintaining. I think that is life and especially with my career. The most important thing is that I recognize that and I recognize when I need to get back to being consistent.

Where did you hear about Stronger U?

One of my best friends and Peloton.

Why do you think Stronger U worked so well for you compared to other programs or diets?

Stronger U taught me how to eat for me. Specifically, it taught me what macros fit me. I learned that consistency is key and that moderation is key. We can enjoy life but need to be smart about it. It was an eye opener to see how much I truly was eating when I started weighing and tracking my food.

What was something you regularly ate while on Stronger U that people wouldn’t expect you to eat on a diet?

Ice cream and pizza.

How much weight did you lose with Stronger U?

62 lbs.

Did you have any favorite non-scale victories to share?

Wearing a size four. Being comfortable on my skin!

Has Stronger U improved your overall quality of life?

Absolutely! I am a much healthier version of myself!

If someone is thinking about joining Stronger U, what advice would you give them before beginning their journey?

Have grace. There is a learning curve. Lean on the community for support. Find what works for you!

Would you like to give a shoutout to your coach, SU staff member, or community member?

Rachel was amazingly patient with me! I just started working with a Gretchen but can tell that she will be tough when I need her to and I am looking forward to that!
