Tell us a little bit about yourself!
I’m a 32-year-old pediatric occupational therapist! I work two jobs and I have two small rescue dogs.
What did your life look like before Stronger U?
Overeating, poor knowledge regarding what my body actually needed. I tried so many diets and I never felt successful! I would lose a little weight and then I would gain it all back and MORE. I was at rock bottom. I remember distinctly having to get ready for a pool party! I tried on outfit after outfit. I didn’t like how anything looked. I remember sitting on the floor crying by piles of clothes because I was so unhappy with how I looked and felt! I signed up for Stronger U that night! When I got the welcome e-mail from Sinan it was like I was given a life jacket! I just held on, showed up and did everything he said!
What does your life look like now?
I lead a more active lifestyle! I am very busy with work but I hike weekly and I am training for my second marathon this spring!

Why do you think Stronger U worked so well for you compared to other programs or diets?
The flexibility, the community, as well as the knowledge it provides! I now know why none of the other diets worked!!
What was something you regularly ate while on Stronger U that people wouldn’t expect you to eat on a diet?
Bread! I would fit in a bagel breakfast sandwich or even just a regular sandwich into my macros! 😍
Did Stronger U have any impact on your training? Or did Stronger U have an impact on your decision to start exercising?
Yes! I was a former college athlete. I had never had a good grasp on nutrition. I was embarrassed that I let myself get to where I was after I entered the real world. Stronger U taught me how to fuel my body for my hikes and running events. I have made so many friends through my Stronger U journey that are some of my best friends to this day! We all cheer each other on and even virtually train with each other! When I lost weight, my body started craving movement! I fell in love with running, kayaking, and hiking!
How much weight did you lose with Stronger U?
How many inches did you lose off your waist?
Did you have any favorite non-scale victories to share?
I ran a marathon, something I never thought would be in the cards for me!
Has Stronger U improved your overall quality of life?
I’m more active and know how to fuel my body!
Has Stronger U improved your overall health (blood pressure, cholesterol, etc.)? If so, how?
Blood pressure went from in the pre-diabetic range into the low average range.
If someone is thinking about joining Stronger U, what advice would you give them before beginning their journey?
Planning is your best friend! Store macro-friendly back-up options in your desk and car! You will thank yourself later!
