Meet Noelle! She’s a wife, mom, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, Peloton addict, and Stronger U Member. With coach Syndi’s help, Noelle has regained control of food, boosted her confidence, improved her overall health, and officially joined the 100 pounds lost club — all while enjoying Oreos!

What led you to join Stronger U?
I joined Stronger U after losing 49lbs and hitting a plateau for months. I was desperate to move forward and was feeling very defeated. Prior to that, my diet was poor, I ate out almost every day for lunch from work, I rarely touched water, and was a bad late-night snacker. I also never worked out but joined SU just as I was getting back into Spinning. The first 49 lbs came off by just making simple changes. I knew I needed more accountability and more fine-tuning in my diet once I plateaued- I was eating better, but was still struggling with portion control and eating the right amounts of the right foods. The dreaded late-night snacking still was a struggle as well. I wanted to find a diet/plan that still allowed me to enjoy the food I was eating- I knew I couldn’t “beat my love for food”, I needed to find a way to control it and still enjoy it! I had tried Keto and other Fads In the past and knew I would fail if I went back to these programs.
How has Stronger U changed your life?
Life now is amazing; I am down 100 lbs. I still struggle at times. But I have learned how to get through those mental and physical battles. I love feeling in control of my diet/food, instead of feeling like food controls me. I work out 6-7 days a week, not because I HAVE to but because I WANT to. I am now off blood pressure and anxiety medication, I am no longer pre-diabetic and my cholesterol which was elevated is now normal. I no longer struggle to sleep. I am a better wife and mom, and a better example and role model to my Patients. I feel StrongerU has helped me create a Lifestyle I am so proud of.
Why do you think Stronger U worked so well for you?
For me, it was hands down the freedom to still enjoy foods I loved yet still be on plan. I will forever love Oreos and I now can plan them into my day and still be on target. I feel this program teaches you how to have a good relationship with food, and doesn’t label your choices as “bad”. I don’t binge like I used to, because nothing is “off-limits”. I try not to label foods anymore as “off-limits” or “bad” but instead look at how I can plan them into my day, enjoy them, and move on. I feel on this program I am eating balanced, my body is happy, and I don’t feel restricted. Win-Win!
Did Stronger U inspire changes in any other area of your life?
Stronger U helped get me to a place where I was confident enough to sit for my Spinning Certification (passed in January!). I notice a big difference in how I perform in my workouts and on the Bike when I am fueling myself well and hitting my macros. I haven’t started to teach spinning just yet, but plan to start this year.
How much weight did you lose?
51 lbs- 100 total! Wahoo!
Tell us about your quality of life now
I am so much happier, confident, a more patient and happy mom/wife, I sleep better, I feel energized, I am an example to my patients and family. I also love that my whole family, especially my kids, are eating better with me.
If someone is thinking about joining Stronger U, what advice would you give them before beginning their journey?
Give yourself Grace, trust the process, shoot for consistency not perfection and listen to your coach! Not every day is perfect, nor should or does it have to be. Show up each day, do your best and move on. 🙂 Little changes and habits, add up to BIG results.
